Retrodelic Vibes 2 is the continuing story of the roots and milestones of psychedelic trance. For those of us who need a reminder, this incredible music has been given a main stage in Goa, India, where it all started. The full moon parties take place mainly in Anjuna Beach, Vagator, Asagao, Siolim and the surrounding forests. This exciting chapter crowns Retrodelic Vibes as the official Bible of Psychedelic Trance.
The album was created in collaboration with Dragonfly, Spirit Zone, Psy Harmonics and Twisted, as well as the artists featured. 10 eternal dust rising tracks by some of the biggest and respected names in trance music:
Hallucinogen (Simon Posford), with a stunning remix of 'The Great Spirit' by Space Tribe (Olly Wisdom). Cydonia (Dino Psaras) in a winning collaboration with Martin Freeland (MWNN), with 'Shambala', one of their best tracks ever, that was played in every party we can remember in the mid 90's. Witchcraft – the mutual project of Israeli mastermind: Sandman (Itzik Levi) and Chakra (Rami Shapira). The two are presented here with what is naturally the peak of their mutual carrier, 'Witchcraft Magic'. Psychaos (Joti Sidhu), with the killer 'Spacial Distortion', a rare track that was widely played by Goa Gil.
Kopfuss Resonator & Jorg, with their 'Whipbird', a massive night tune that was the intro on DJ Tsuyoshi Suzuki's sets. Electric Universe (Boris Blenn aka Jupiter 8000) is presenting here 'Luna Overdrive', a drifting track that was originally featured on his 'Stardiver' album, here in a slightly different version. There is no questioning this is one of his best! Doof (Nick Barber), with the golden 'Let's Turn On', whom every resident in Koh Pangan is familiar with… Tim Schuldt with one of his early works 'Karma 209' – a 10 min. morning tune that is simply unforgettable!! Masaray (Masa from Japan and Australian Ray Castle), with 'Time Traveler Of Trance', one of the most rare and treasured tracks ever…! Man With No Name is the one to close this episode of Retrodelic Vibes with the all time morning anthem 'Sly-Ed' that appeared on Paul Okenfold's mix.
