During the vibrant Goa era, original trance music filled the airwaves. From Goa to Koh Pangan, the sounds of Asia 2001 (Martin Cooper) resonated at every party, marking him as a hitmaker on the scene. The distinct Goa Trans'pact sound was unmistakable — a blend of euphoric tunes infused with uplifting atmospheres, synonymous with the era's vibe.
During the peak of Trans'pact's glory days, "Strange World" emerged as a beacon. However, with the decline of 'Flying distribution', the album faded into obscurity.
Yet, the resurgence of interest in classic Goa trance has thrust Asia 2001 back into the spotlight as pioneers of the genre. The re-release of "Strange World" on Avatar's Pro File label is fully remastered and features two additional bonus tracks, enhancing its status as a classic. It stands as a defining piece of Goa trance history and a milestone within the genre.
